Forskare vid Linköpings universitet har utvecklat en ny metod för att skapa halvledare med minimal miljöpåverkan. Det handlar om så kallad organisk elektronik som ersätter kisel som halvledare i produkter som digitala skärmar, energilagring, solceller och implantat.

IoT Uppkopplade föremål, ”internet of things”, väntas explodera i antal de kommande åren. Det handlar om miljarder enheter och för att undvika en miljömässig katastrof krävs ny miljövänlig elektronik. Nu har svenska forskare gjort ett genombrott.
