Med hjälp av så kallad carrier aggregation, där man kombinerar flera olika frekvensband, har Ericssons ingenjörer lyckats uppnå nedladdningshastigheten 5,7 Gbps. Totalt sex olika frekvensband användes vid testet: tre av dessa i FDD-bandet och tre i sub-6Ghz TDD-bandet.
